The days are gone of having to buy expensive and heavy weights to be able to get a fantastic strength and toning workout at home. My number 1 favourite piece of home workout equipment in my kit is my suspension training straps. My original training straps cost over $200 but with some chain stores now selling a great equivalent for $40 there is no need to go expensive.

Why Suspension Training?

Suspension training enables you to build lean muscle mass, burn calories and work your core all at the same time. It is absolutely possible to get great muscle gains without ever lifting a weight. With the use of straps which use your own bodyweight to create the resistance required, you get an amazing core workout no matter what part of your body you are training.

Getting core stability at the same time as gaining strength in your arms/legs

Training your balance and coordination

 

There is no longer any reason to have a different weight for each different exercise. With a super easy adjustment and slightly different placement of feet, an exercise can be immediately adjusted to make it harder or easier.

No more excuses for not training whilst away on holidays (if you’re like me and don’t like missing out) these straps are so light and compact and are easily fitted to any pole or post that can hold your weight that this truly is the gym that can go wherever you go.
